Last season's Champions Bush Hill Rangers carried on where they left off with a 5-1 win over Leverstock Green Development.
There were four sides promoted from Division One - Apsley Argyle had a brilliant opening day with a 0-5 win at Buntingford Town with London Lions Development beating Baldock Town Reserves 2-1. Lemsford drew 2-2 at new club Everett Rovers.
There has been a good number of player movement at Baldock Town Reserves following the departure of their management team - Only Brandon Owen (11 games), Ryan Perkins (24) and Marcus Wilson (1) played for them last season in their starting XI at London Lions.
Another hat-trick hero was former London Colney and Stotfold player Eben Mbona of Hatfield Town who netted three in their 5-2 win over Sandridge Rovers.
