The National League South 23/24 campaign kicks off on Saturday 5th August with a huge amount of transfer activity occurring over the last month in the build up to the season. The below list is not one showing the full number of moves but does show what I believe are the most interesting and stand out signings made which include a player who has played in the Champions League and a full International for Libya.
1) LIONEL AINSWORTH - AVELEY
Centre Forward Ainsworth, 35, moves after spending last season helping AFC Sudbury to promotion from the Isthmian League North Division where he made 29 appearances. He joins The Millers as Player/Assistant Manager. He is a very experienced player having come through the academy ranks at Derby County and being a full time professional with The Rams from 2005 to 2007 season making two first team Championship appearances. He spent time on loan with AFC Bournemouth (then in League One), Halifax Town (Conference Premier) and Wycombe Wanderers (League Two) before a move to Hereford United in 2007 who were then a League Two side. He went on to play for Watford, Brentford, Shrewsbury Town, Burton Albion, Rotherham United, Aldershot Town, Motherwell, Plymouth Argyle, Weymouth, Dulwich Hamlet, Welling United, Braintree Town and Heybridge Swifts. Whilst with Motherwell from 2013 to 2017 he was a first team regular and made 138 league and cup appearances scoring 27 goals - He also played and scored in the UEFA Europa League whilst playing North of the Border.
2) JALEN JONES - AVELEY
Moves up to Step Two after a stand out season for Cray Wanderers in 22/23 where he made 45 appearances at centre-back scoring 4 goals. The 24 year old has also played for Mertsham, Worthing, Eastbourne United, Carshalton Athletic, Biggleswade Town, Cheshunt and Braintree Town as well as a short spell with Swedish Fourth Tier side Skellefteå FF in 2020. He played for Tooting & Mitcham United, AFC Wimbledon and Crystal Palace as a youth player. He is a full International with Guyana playing in recent games against Montserrat, Bermuda, Haiti. Bermuda, Grenada and Guadeloupe.
3) JOEL BENTON - AVELEY
22 year old midfielder who has moved from Southend United. He spent time on loan with The Millers in the 21/22 season where he netted 16 goals and created/assisted 17 goals to help them to the Isthmian North title. He was loan with Yeovil Town last season.
4) JORDAN THOMAS - BATH CITY
Another young player moving from Step Three to Step Two as the 22 year old moves from North Leigh who played in the Southern League Premier South last season. He has also played for Didcot Town. He netted 14 league goals last season in team which struggled finishing third from bottom of the table. He was a fan's favourite at Eynsham Park in an attacking midfield position.
5) OLLIE WRIGHT - BATH CITY
A 20 year old goalkeeper who was born in Bath and has joined on a season long loan from Championship side Southampton where he has been since he was 10 years old. He made 15 starts for Southampton u21 last season who finished top of the Premier League 2 Group 2 division.
6) NNAMDI NWACHUKU - BRAINTREE TOWN
A goal machine of a striker who netted an incredible 49 goals for Isthmian North play-off winner's AFC Sudbury last season and prior to this he got 22 in 37 games for Marlow in the 21/22 Isthmian South-Central division. Prior to his time with Marlow he scored 101 goals in 100 games helping Coggeshall Town rise up the non-league pyramid. He has also played for Colchester United as a youth team player. He's already scored a club record for pre-season games netting 10 (TEN!) goals for The Iron's in games against Canvey Island (2) Holland FC (5), AFC Sudbury (1), Ipswich Wanderers (1) and FC Clacton (1). Could the 28 year old transfer his form from Step Four to Step Two of the non-league ladder?
7) WILL DAVIES - BRAINTREE TOWN
Another striker who scores lots of goals moving from Step Three Leiston who he helped to a third place finish in the Sothern League Premier Central last season. The 24 year old has been at Victory Road since 2018 joining them from Woodbridge Town. He scored 31 goals for Leiston in 22/23 (29 in the league) and in total played 158 times scoring 65 times for the Suffolk side.
7) REGGIE LAMBE - BRAINTREE TOWN
Another player to cross the border from Suffolk to Essex. The 32 year old highly experienced midfielder has 46 full International caps for Bermuda, 203 football league appearances including spells with Mansfield Town, Carlisle United and Cambridge United along with 53 appearances in Major League Soccer whilst with Toronto FC in 2012 and 2013.
8) HARRY BEADLE - BRAINTREE TOWN
20 year old Colchester United central defender who impressed on loan with Bishops Stortford last season. He has joined The Iron on loan.
9) MO DABRE - CHELMSFORD CITY
An Italian born midfielder, 20, joins after spending the last two seasons with Swindon Town where he played in the FA Cup and EFL Trophy spending time on loan with Chippenham Town, Banbury United and Worthing where he scored 5 goals in 19 league and cup games last season.
10) MOHAMED BETTAMER - CHELMSFORD CITY
Centre-Forward who scored 7 in 26 league and cup games for Concord Rangers last season. He has joined on loan from Hayes and Yeading United. The 30 year old has played for a large number of non-league clubs in London and the south-east starting at Kingsbury London Tigers before being offered a scholarship with Watford for the 2010/11 season - He was not offered a professional contract at Vicarage Road. He returned to the newly named London Tigers and then went on to play for Hayes & Yeading United, Bedfont Town, North Greenford United, London Tigers (third spell) Hampton & Richmond Borough, Al-Ahly Benghazi (Libya), Staines Town, Braintree Town, Barnet, Welling United, Hemel Hempstead Town, Aldershot Town, Maidstone United and Hayes & Yeading (second spell) before moving on loan to Concord Rangers last season. He has been capped as a full International by Libya and also played for their u18, u20 and u23 side. He also played for Barawa in the 2018 CONIFA World Cup.
11) CHARLIE RUFF - CHELMSFORD CITY
The former Hornchurch midfielder re-joins The Clarets after moving to Havant & Waterlooville in November 2022. He originally joined City in the summer of 2022. The midfielder play-maker scored 7 in 20 games prior to his departure and 5 in 23 games for The Hawks. Whilst with The Urchins he was part of the team who famously won the 2021 FA Trophy at Wembley.
12) AARON AMADI-HOLLOWAY - CHIPPENHAM TOWN
30 year old central defender who was born in Cardiff and was capped by Wales at u17 and u19 level as a youngster. He play youth football for Cardiff City before being offered a professional contract with Bristol City in 2011. He failed to make the first team at Ashton Gate spending a short time on loan with Bath City before joining Newport County in 2014. He has gone on to play for Wycombe Wanderers, Oldham Athletic, Fleetwood Town, Shrewsbury Town, Burton Albion and Barrow before spending last season at Edgar Street where he was voted Player of the Year. He has also played in Australia for Brisbane Roar and in India for East Bengal. He has 157 football league appearances to his name with 13 goals scored.
13) LUKE SPOKES - CHIPPENHAM TOWN
Spokes moves from Bath City where he spent the 22/23 season. The 22 year old midfielder started his career with Mangotsfield Town, Yate Town and Taunton Town before a move to Grimsby Town who were then managed by Ian Holloway. He made 17 football league appearances for The Mariners in the 20/21 season spending time on loan with Boston United and Spennymoor Town.
14) JOE RABBETTS - DARTFORD
21 year old left back who joined Dorking Wanderers from Aldershot Town in 2022. He spent time on loan with Isthmian Premier Division side Bognor Regis Town last season making 43 appearances for The Rocks. He has joined on loan initially until January.
15) HARVEY BRADBURY - DARTFORD
Centre-Forward has joined The Darts on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell last season where he netted 6 goals in 8 games. He started his career with Portsmouth going on to Watford, Oxford United and Millwall where he made only one football league appearances whilst with The Us. He spent time on loan with Havant and Waterlooville, St Albans City, Hungerford Town, Working and Morecambe before dropping into the non-league game with Oxford City. The 24 year old has since played for Welling United, Gosport Borough and Dorchester Town.
16) FUAD SESAY - DOVER ATHLETIC
19 year old Left-Back moves to The Crabble after spending last season with Sheffield Wednesday - He has also played for Southampton's academy sides.
17) JAMES DUNNE - DOVER ATHLETIC
The experienced midfielder joins from Welling United where he was captain last season. The 33 year old started his career with Arsenal where he was a full time professional from 2007 to 2009 spending a short time on loan with Nottingham Forest. He moved to Exeter City, Stevenage, Portsmouth, Cambridge United and Swindon Town also spending time on loan with Dagenham & Redbridge and in Scotland with St Johnstone. He dropped down to the National League with Barnet in 2019 and played for Southend United in the 21/22 season. He has over 300 football league appearances to his name and played 13 times in the top tier of Scottish Football.
18) BILLY VIGAR - EASTBOURNE BOROUGH
The 19 year old centre-forward joins on a season long loan from Premier League Arsenal. He spent time on loan with Derby County last season. He played for both The Gunners and The Rams in their Premier League 2 games last season.
19) STEFAN VUKOJE - EASTBOURNE BOROUGH
21 year old attacking midfielder who started his career in Luton Town's academy before joining Brighton & HA as a 16 year old in the summer of 2018. The Seagulls paid The Hatter's a transfer fee of £50,000 where current Borough Manager Mark Beard was under 18's boss. He was released from Brighton in 2022 and has since played in Romania for Liga II side SSU Politechnica Timisoara and for Sloboda Uzice in the Serbian second tier.
20) YASER KASIM - EASTBOURNE BOROUGH
Kasim has 21 full International caps for Iraq and joins after short spells with Welling United, Gloucester City and Margate last season. He moved to London with his family as a young child and spent time in the academy systems of Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur. He turned down the offer of a full time contract with the North London club and joined Brighton & HA in October 2010. He spent time on loan with Luton Town and Macclesfield Town before joining Swindon Town in 2013 and then Northampton Town in 2017. He has also played in Sweden for Orebro SK and in Iraq for Premier League side's Erbil and Zakho. He has 129 football league appearances to his name.
21) ALFIE BRIDGMAN - EASTBOURNE BOROUGH
19 year old midfielder joins after being released from Portsmouth. He came through the ranks at Pompey and spent time on loan with Bognor Regis Town last season. He has been capped six times by Malta at u19 level.
22) MICHAEL FOLIVI - FARNBOROUGH
Folivi is a pacey striker who joins after a short spell with Chelmsford City last season where he netted 6 goals in 14 National League South games. He started his career with Watford spending time on loan with Coventry City, Boreham Wood and AFC Wimbledon before joining Colchester United in 2020 he scored 5 goals in 27 League Two games. He had been due to sign a new contract with the Essex side but an Achillies Tendon injury which resulted in surgery put the offer on hold.
23) JOE PARTINGTON - FARNBOROUGH
Former Eastleigh and Aldershot Town Captain has joined Farnborough for the 23/24 season. He was capped at u17, u19 and u21 level for Wales starting his career with AFC Bournemouth from 2007 to 2015 he made 52 appearances in League One. He spent time on loan with Eastoburne Borough, Aldershot Town and Eastleigh before joining The Spitfires on a permanent basis in 2015. He has also played in League One for Bristol Rovers from 2016 to 2019 where he made 53 football league appearances. Now aged 33 he brings with him a wealth of footballing experience to the centre of defence for Farnborough.
24) ALEX SOLOMAN - HAMPTON & RICHMOND BOROUGH
20 year old centre-back joins after spending the final months of the 22/23 campaign with Isthmian Premier Kingstonian. He started his career with Crystal Palace, Leyton Orient and Leicester City academy sides before a short spell with Enfield Town in 2022 where he made one appearance coming off the bench against Barking in a Velocity Cup Third Round Tie - whilst with The Towners he also played for St Neots Town on a dual registration basis. He spent time with Swedish fourth tier side Ytterhogdals IK last season. He has been capped at International level for Cyprus at u17 and u21 level.
25) BEN SEYMOUR - HAMPTON & RICHMOND BOROUGH
Joins from Step Three side Plymouth Parkway where he netted 27 goals in 46 league games last season. The 24 year old striker started his career with Exeter City where he made 50 appearances in League Two from 2017 to 2022. Has also played on loan with Weston-Super-Mare, Bideford, Gloucester City, Dorchester Town, Yeovil Town and Bath City whilst with The Grecians.
26) TEIMOURAZ VAZAGKASVILI - HAMPTON & RICHMOND BOROUGH
A 19 year old central midfielder who has played football with the Panathinaikos academy. Has also played for Hertford Town in the National League u19 Alliance.
27) ROARIE DEACON - HAVANT & WATERLOOVILLE
The 31 year old midfielder re-joins The Hawks after a two season spell with Maidstone United. He was previously with the club between 2019 to 2021. He started his career with Arsenal before joining Sunderland, Stevenage, Crawley Town, Sutton United and Dundee. He was capped by England at u19 level. He has 85 football league appearances to his name and 33 in the Scottish Premiership.
28) JOE McNERNEY - HAVANT & WATERLOOVILLE
The 6ft 4in centre-back drops down from the National League where he made 69 league and cup appearances for Woking over the past two seasons. Now aged 33 he started his career with The Cards before playing for Crawley Town where he made over 100 football league appearances from 2015 to 2021.
29) ARJANIT KRASNIQI - HEMEL HEMPSTEAD TOWN
Joins The Tudors from fellow National South side Chelmsford City. The 23 year old defensive midfielder has been capped by Kosovo at u19 and u21 level. He started his career with Waltham Forest before a move into the football league with Colchester United. He has since played for Billericay Town, Dover Athletic and Braintree Town as well as Finnish top tier side Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho.
30) ALFIE MATTHEWS - HEMEL HEMPSTEAD TOWN
21 year old centre-forward/attacking midfielder who was with Braintree Town last season where he netted 12 goals and 12 assists helping The Iron to a play-off place. He has also played for Welling United and came through the academy ranks at both Arsenal and Crystal Palace.
31) JOE IACIOFANO - HEMEL HEMPSTEAD TOWN
A 24 year old striker with a record of 45 goals in 102 National League South games with Havant & Waterlooville, St Albans City and Oxford City. He has also played for Banbury United, AFC Mansfield and started his career with Northampton Town.
32) LEVI AMANTCHI - MAIDSTONE UNITED
22 year old centre-forward who has already played for a good number of non-league clubs. He ended the 21/22 season with Isthmian Premier Division side Potters Bar Town after joining The Scholars from Redditch United. He played for Braintree Town and Brackley Town last season. He has also played for Workington, Darlington, Blyth Spartans and Chesterfield.
33) CHI EZENNOLIM - MAIDSTONE UNITED
21 year old left-back left back was named as Welling United's player's and supporter's player of the season in 22/23. He had been with The Wings since 2021 and came through the academy ranks at Millwall.
34) RAZZAQ COLEMAN DE-GRAFT - MAIDSTONE UNITED
25 year old who can play in a variety of positions across the front line and also left-back. He moves up from Isthmian Premier Division side Lewes where he has been since 2021 and counts Hampton & Richmond Borough as a former a club. He played 39 times for The Rooks last season netting 14 goals which included a hat-trick versus Canvey Island in the final game of the season.
35) DAVID OGBONNA - SLOUGH TOWN
21 year old pacey and skilful winger Ogbonna makes the move up from Step Four Hertford Town. He has also played for Hendon during his career. He scored 31 goals for Hertford over the past two seasons and always impressed in the games I saw him play for them. It's great to see a young player getting a chance at a higher level which he fully deserves.
36) HUBERT GRACZYK - SLOUGH TOWN
The 20 year old goalkeeper joins on a season long loan from Premier League Arsenal. He has played in the Premier League 2 and u18 Premier League for The Gunners as as the EFL Trophy. He joined the North London club from Everton's youth set up when he was 14 years old. He has played for England at youth level but more recently played for Poland's u19 team.
37) TYRESE DYCE - SLOUGH TOWN
Left sided player who can play full back, winge and centre back was with Gosport Borough towards the end of last season. He came through the West Bromwich Albion academy but was released from The Hawthorns in 2021 joining Sunderland where he made his debut in an EFL Trophy game against Manchester United u23s scoring in a 2-1 win. After being released by The Black Cats he played for Spennymoor Town.
38) MUASHE SUNDIRE - SLOUGH TOWN
26 year old midfielder joins from league rival's St Albans City. Has also played for Kings Lynn Town, Kettering Town, Hemel Hempstead Town, St Ives Town, Chesham United, Kempston Rovers and Banbury United.
39) DYLAN FAGE - ST ALBANS CITY
24 year old French Midfielder joins after a short spell with Macclesfield FC where he made 5 appearance in the Northern Premier League Division One (West) after joining the club in February. He started his career in the French lower divisions with Auxerre II before moving to England with Oldham Athletic where he made 60 League Two appearances.
40) JACK JAMES - ST ALBANS CITY
Born locally in Bedford. The 23 year old attack minded full back played in the Luton Town academy and was a full time pro with The Hatters from 2017 to 2019 spending time on loan with Hitchin Town and Havant & Waterlooville. He joined Braintree Town in 2019 for a short spell before moving to Gloucester City where he has been for three and a half seasons. Capped by the Republic of Ireland at both u18 and u19 level.
41) ANDRONICOS GEORGIOU - ST ALBANS CITY
Spent last season at Step Three with Kings Langley. The 23 year old midfielder/forward played for Stevenage FC's academy sides before being a full time pro at Broadhall Way from 2017 to 2020 where he only made three football league appearances. He spent time on loan with Kings Langley, Hendon and The Saints so this is his second spell with the club. He spent the 20/21 campaign with then Championship side Wycombe Wanderers but didn't make a first team appearance. He has also played for Haringey Borough.
42) DAN BOWRY - ST ALBANS CITY
A full International with Antigua and Barbuda who has 14 caps to his name. A defender who started with career with Charlton Athletic spending time on loan with Hampton & Richmond Borough and Kingstonian. He was with Cheltenham Town from 2019 to 2021 spending time on loan with Kings Lynn Town and Wealdstone. He spent the 21/22 season with Kings Lynn Town before moving to Worthing for the 22/23 campaign where he helped the South Coast side to a Vanarama South play-off place.
43) BOBBY DUNN - ST ALBANS CITY
19 year old attacking midfielder who was with Dartford for the last few months of the 22/23 campaign. Bobby is a product of the famous South London based Kinetic academy and was part of the Croydon FC under 18's side who got through to the FA Youth Cup Third Round in the 19/20 season playing Wigan Athletic at The DW Stadium. He was signed by Sheffield Wednesday in June 2022 but moved back South to The Darts in March. He also spent time with Charlton Athletic as a youth player. Also played for Ramsgate and Sevenoaks Town in the Isthmian South-East Division during the 21/22 season.
44) RAUL DA SILVA - ST ALBANS CITY
Joins The Saints after spending the 22/23 season with Cheshunt where the central defender, 27, made 38 appearances. Has also played football in Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Malta.
45) DAN LAVERCOMBE - TAUNTON TOWN
26 year old goalkeeper who was born in Devon and began his career with Torquay United before joining Wigan Athletic in 2016. He spent time on loan with Rhyl and back with The Gulls whilst with The Latics. He moved on to AFC Fylde in 2019 and then FC United of Manchester in 2020 where he had made 103 appearances before moved back to the South-West this summer.
46) AUSTIN BOOTH - TAUNTON TOWN
A highly rated 25 year old defender/midfielder who joins from Southern Premier South side Plymouth Parkway where he was named supporter's and player's player of the year for the 22/23 season. He graduated from the academy ranks at Torquay United before joining Truro City in 2017. He has also played for Barnstaple Town, Buckland Athletic and Tiverton Town.
47) JERNADE MEADE - TONBRIDGE ANGELS
A 30 year old left back/winger and full Montserrat International with four caps so far in his career. He finished the season with Dartford last season after starting it with Hemel Hempstead Town. He came through the youth ranks as Arsenal where he started in the 2012 Champion's League Group B game at Olympiakos in front of 30,000 fans. He left Arsenal for Swansea City in 2013 and whilst with The Swans spent a short spell on loan with his home town club Luton Town. He played for Hadley in the Spartan South Midlands League during the 14/15 season and went on to St Albans City for a short spell before playing in Sweden for AFC Eskilstuna and in Norway for Aalesunds FK.
48) STEFAN PAYNE - TONBRIDGE ANGELS
Vastly experienced 31 year old centre forward who spent the 22/23 season with Welling United where he netted 11 times in 35 games. He started his career with Croydon and Sutton United before a move to Premier League Fulham in 2009. He moved from Craven Cottage to Gillingham in 2010 where he made 37 league and cup appearances scoring twice. He has since represented Braintree Town, Aldershot Town, Sutton United (second spell), Macclesfield Town, Ebbsfleet United, AFC Hornchurch, Dover Athletic, Barnsley, Shrewsbury Town, Bristol Rovers, Tranmere Rovers, Grimsby Town and Chesterfield. In total of 146 football league appearances to his name with 21 goals scored. His most productive seasons in front of goal came in 13/14 when he netted 35 goals 46 Isthmian Premier Division games for AFC Hornchurch and from 2014 to 2016 when he got 33 goals in 84 National League games for Dover Athletic.
49) OBED YEBOAH - TRURO CITY
18 year old striker who is the nephew of the former Leeds United striker Tony Yeboah. He joins The White Tigers after being released by League Two side AFC Wimbledon. Spent a short time on loan in the Isthmian Premier Division with Corinthian-Casuals where he played in two games against Carshalton Athletic and Enfield Town in March just prior to making his football league debut with The Dons when he came on as a substitute at Barrow in the 2-1 defeat on Saturday 25th March.
50) SAM SAUNDERS - TRURO CITY
The 21 year old central-defender joins on loan from Vanarama National side York City. He is a product of the Nottingham Forest academy where he went on loan to The Minstermen in February 2022 where he helped them secure promotion back to non-league's top division. He made 20 National League appearances for York City last season before ending the season on loan with Boston United in the Vanarama North.
51) RYAN LAW - TRURO CITY
23 year old left-back joins the Cornish club after his release from Plymouth Argyle where he had been since 2018. In total he made 18 League One appearances for The Pilgrims. He spent the 19/20 campaign on loan with Truro during which he won young player of the year and goal of the year. Last season he was with Gillingham and Yeovil Town on loan making 17 League Two and 11 National League appearances.
52) TJ BRAMBLE - WELLING UNITED
THOMAS JAMES EVERTON BRAMBLE to give him his full name is a 22 year old midfielder who ended the 22/23 campaign with Chelmsford City. He has also played for Dover Athletic and began his career with Gillingham having loan spells away from Priestfield with Deal Town, East Grinstead Town and Sittingbourne. He is a full International with Antigua and Barbuda with 10 caps to his name so far.
53) KAIN ADOM - WELLING UNITED
Moves up from Step Three side Hanwell Town where he scored 12 goals last season. He is 22 years old and has also played for Ashford Town (Middx) and Staines Town.
54) MITCHELL DICKENSON - WELLING UNITED
Defender Dickenson has followed Manager Danny Bloor from Eastbourne Borough and will be The Wings Captain for the 23/24 season. He had been with Borough since 2020. He came through the Gillingham academy and has also played for Hythe Town and Hemel Hempstead Town. The 26 year old has also been capped for England 'C'.
55) TAOFIQ OLOMOWEWE - WELLING UNITED
26 year old central-defender returns to Park View Road where he started last season. he made 9 league appearances for The Wings before departing to Isthmian South East side Ramsgate where he made 13 appearances. He started his career with Burnley and has since played for Maldon & Tiptree, Wealdstone, Enfield Town, Worthing, Hendon, Hemel Hempstead Town, Hungerford Town, Chelmsford City, Braintree Town, Weymouth and Dulwich Hamlet.
56) CROSSLEY LEMA - WELLING UNITED
The talented full back moves up to step two after a stand out season with Carshalton Athletic where the 24 year old was named player of the year making 46 league and cup appearances. He has also played for Margate, Leatherhead and Sutton United.
57) LEWIS WHITE - WELLING UNITED
Moves from fellow Vanarama South side Worthing where he made 28 league appearances scoring 5 goals in their debut season in the division. The 24 year old winger came through the Millwall academy and played for Dulwich Hamlet before moving to Carshalton Athletic where he made 32 appearances and scored 11 goals in the 21/22 campaign.
58) HARRY LEE - WESTON-SUPER-MARE
18 year old goalkeeper Lee joins on loan from League One side Exeter City. There has been a long list of successful loanees to spend time with The Seagulls from Exeter City in recent years. These include Ollie Watkins (24 games and 10 goals in the 14/15 season), Jordan Tillson (6 games in 2015), Archie Collins (8 games in 2017) and Joel Randall (14 games in 5 games in 2019). Watkins needs no introduction having been capped by England 7 times and moving from Brentford to Aston Villa for a transfer fee of £28,000,000. Defensive midfielder Tillson is now with Scottish Premiership side Ross County. Midfielder Collins has recently moved to Peterborough United for a six figure fee after 191 football league appearances for The Grecians. Joel Randall also made the move to Peterborough in 2021.
Lee has already spent time on loan with Tavistock, Plymouth Parkway and Dorchester Town. He has been an unused sub for City a number of times since he was 15 year of age and came on from the bench in October 2022 in the 88th minute against Derby County due to an injury to Jamal Blackman.

James is another 18 year old player moving on loan from Exeter City. The defender has already spent time with Saltash United, Weymouth and Tiverton Town. He made one football league appearance for City last season as a substitute in the 2-4 defeat to Oxford United.

22 year old striker joins from Alvechurch. He came through the ranks at West Bromwich Albion and spent time away from The Hawthorns at Barrow, Lincoln City and Cheltenham Town. He only made 3 football league appearances but was capped by England at u17 level.
61) JORDAN THOMPSON - WEYMOUTH
24 year old defender who was born in North London but started his football career with the academy at Coventry City. He made six football league appearances for The Sky Blues from 2017 to 2021 where he spent time on loan with Barrow, Boreham Wood, Wrexham and Solihull Moors. He spent the 21/22 season with Gloucester City and the 22/23 season with Hereford and Cheshunt.
62) NORMAN WABO - WEYMOUTH
25 year old centre forward who spent last season with Eastbourne Borough making 14 league appearances scoring twice. He began his career with Southend United and made 5 League One appearances between 2017 to 2019. Whilst at Roots Hall he played on loan with Cambridge City, Ebbsfleet United, Maidstone United and Braintree Town before spending the beginning of the 19/20 season with Dartford where he spent sometime on loan with Cheshunt. He has since played for Margate, Concord Rangers (loan), Billericay Town, Bowers & Pitsea (loan) and Potters Bar Town (loan).

22 year old midfielder returns to the club he spent 2018 to 2021 with making 95 league and cup appearances - He made his debut aged just 17. He moved into the football league with Swindon Town in 2021 and made 16 football league appearances for the Wilthshire side. He also spent some time on loan with Chippenham Town and Torquay United.

21 year old goalkeeper joins after his contract with Brentford at the end of June. He had joined The Bees from Brighton & HA in 2021. He spent time on loan with Worthing in 2020 as a 17 year old on loan from The Seagulls where he made 15 appearances.
65) GREG LUER - WORTHING
28 year old centre-forward joins after spending the last four seasons with Eastbourne Borugh. Made his name with Burgess Hill Town from 2012 to 2015 before a move into the football league with Hull City where he spent time on loan with Port Vale, Scunthorpe United, Stevenage and Maidstone United. He also played for Woking during the 18/19 season.
66) MICHAEL KLASS - WORTHING
Midfielder joins from Vanarama National League side Aldershot Town where he made 27 league appearances last season as well a short spell with Lewes where he spent the 21/22 season. He started his career with Southend United making 12 football league appearances between 2018 to 2021.
67) JOAN LUQUE - WORTHING
A 31 year old Spanish midfielder/winger who played youth football for Barcelona, Damm, Gramenet, Europa and Cornella before playing professional with Gramenet and also played for Montanesa, Vilassar Mar, Santboia, Sabadell B, Sant Rafel and Llosetense in Spain. He moved to England with Heybridge Swifts for the 17/18 season where scored 30 goals in 61 league and cup games. He moved up to the football league with Lincoln City where he spent time on loan with Bromley. He has since played for Concord Rangers, Dagenham & Redbridge, Maidstone United and Weymouth. He scored 22 goals in 37 games for Maidstone United last season.
68) SONNY BLU LO-EVERTON - YEOVIL TOWN
20 year old midfielder who joins after his contract with Derby County expired. He started his career with Watford but didn't make a first team appearances for The Hornets. He has also played on loan with Wealdstone and the 21/22 season with The Glovers making 44 league and cup appearances. He has been capped by Scotland at u17, u18 and u19 level.
69) ZAC BELL - YEOVIL TOWN
20 year old defender has joined on loan from football league side Bristol City. He has been capped for Wales at u15, u18 and u19 level.

A left back with a huge amount of experience. He made 38 league and cup appearances for York City last season. He played youth football for Liverpool ands has also played for Dunfermline Athletic, AFC Fylde, Southport, York City, Forest Green Rovers, Southport, Warrington Town, Boston United, Gloucester City and Chesterfield.
71) FRANK NOUBLE - YEOVIL TOWN
31 year old striker who has played for a large number of teams during his career with started at West Ham United where he made 10 Premier League appearances from 2009 to 2011. He has also played 80 Championship games, 70 League One games and 184 League Two games during his career as well as a spell in the China in the second tier with Tainjin Songjiang and Nei Mongol Zhongyou in 2015 and 2016. Frank is the brother of Livingston FC striker Joel Nouble. Early in his career he was capped by England at u17 and u19 level.
72) JAKE WANNELL - YEOVIL TOWN
28 year old central defender has joined from Taunton Town who he helped win the Southern League Premier South title in 21/22. He was part of the Taunton Town team who kept 19 clean sheets in the Vanarama South. He started his career with Exeter City before playing for Weymouth and Salisbury City.
73) JAKE HYDE - YEOVIL TOWN
Hugely experienced 33 year old striker who joins after a two year spell with Wrexham which also included a spell on loan with Southend United last season. Hyde started his career in 2008 with Swindon Town and has also played for Weymouth, Barnet, Hayes & Yeading United, Lochee United, Dunfermline Athletic, Dundee, Barnet, York City, Stevenage, Maidenhead United, Woking and FC Halifax Town.
74) RHYS MURPHY - YEOVIL TOWN
32 year old striker returns to Huish Park where he played from 2019 to 2021 scoring 29 goals in 58 National League games. He has been with Southend United over the past two seasons. He started his career with Arsenal spending time on loan with Brentford and Preston North End. Since his release from The Gunners he has played for Telstar (Holland), Dagenham & Redbridge, Oldham Athletic, Crawley Town, AFC Wimbledon, Forest Green Rovers, York City, Crawley Town, Torquay United, Gillingham and Chelmsford City.
