There are a number of new clubs in Divisions One, Two, Three and Four including Ilford based Old Parkonians who finished bottom of the Southern Amateur League Senior Division One last season.

It's also great to see the name of Beckton (Beckton Sporting Club) back in Saturday football. The Beckton area hasn't really been represented since Beckton United left the London Spartan League in 1996 and sadly folded.

Changing Lives FC are based in Harlow and are a football club whose mission is in their name - to change lives! The club were founded by David Simmons and will be made up of refugees who are all united by the beautiful game of football. The aim is to help refugees arriving in the UK and encourage them along the right path. Just reading about the amazing work they are doing is wonderful and hopefully they will make many friends throughout the forthcoming season. Check them out on twitter here
