After being pushed all the way by Belstone and Chipperfield Corinthians it's Bush Hill Rangers who were crowned Champions of the Herts Senior County League Premier Division on Wednesday 24th May with a 0-4 win over Ware Sports in their final game of a thrilling season. Goals from Hamza Abdulle, Kerem Ismial, Jordan McKenzie and Rocheim Stewart sealed the victory after Rangers had been beaten the previous midweek by Oracle Components who had struggled towards the bottom of the table throughout the season but happily for them ended up safe in twelfth place. The game featured two of the best goals I've seen this season - see below!
Neither of the current top three have applied for promotion to Step Six so it's Royston Town u23's who move up to the Spartan South Midlands League Division One of the 2023/24 season.

It was a fantastic season for Ware Sports with two trophy amazing trophy wins - I'm saddened to read the club have folded and will not play next season. The club tweeted the news just a few days ago with many people from local football making some nice comments and sending them best wishes - this shows what a fantastic team and bunch of people they were.
