Bishop Auckland are currently top of the EBAC Northern League Division One. The Two Blues have played in the division since relegation from the Northern Premier League Division One at the end of the 05/06 season - the highest they have ever finished is 3rd in the 18/19 campaign. 

Whitley Bay, having their best season for many a year, are currently in second place - The Seahorses famously won the FA Vase in 2002, 2009, 2010 and 2011 as well as finishing as Champions in 2007 and in third place in 07/08, 08/09, 09/10 and 10/11 struggled last season finishing in seventeenth place just above Bishop Auckland who finished in eighteenth. 

Newton Aycliffe (third last season) and Sunderland RCA (ninth) follow with perhaps the best placed team being Ashington who have a large number of games in hand due to their amazing Emirates FA Cup run - they lost at Vanarama North side King's Lynn Town in the Fourth Qualifying Round on Saturday.
