What a season it's been for Anstey Nomads so far who will now entertain one of non-league's biggest clubs in Chesterfield in the Fourth Qualifying Round. The Leicestershire side first entered the competition in 2011 and this is their best run to date. The club moved up from Step 6 to Step 5 in 2019 and finished in third place of the United Counties League Premier North last season.

Ashington AFC have a rich history in the competition having reached the Third Round in 26/27, Second Round in 50/51 and First Round in 21/22, 23/24, 25/26 27/28 28/29 29/30, 52/53 and 61/62. The Colliers were members of the football league from 1921 through to 1929 playing in Division Three (North). In recent times they reached the Fourth Qualifying Round in the 11/12 season losing 5-0 at Grimsby Town. 

They travel to Vanarama North side Kings Lynn Town next Saturday.

Bury AFC were formed after Bury FC were expelled from the football league in 2019. They were North West Counties Division One North Champions last season and are cufrrently in mid table of the Premier Division. They play Vanarama National League side York City at home on Saturday - they currently ground share with Radcliffe FC.

The Oaks recorded one of the results of the season on Saturday when the Isthmian South-East side visited Twerton Park to play Vanarama South side Bath City. The Kent side were huge underdogs as it was a Step 2 v Step 4 game where a Jordy Ndozid goal was enough to see them through to the Fourth Qualifying Round for the first time in their history. 

They played six games in the 2021/22 season but only reached the 1st QR - they had replays in each round against Cobham, Erith Town and Redhill.

The Isthmian South-East Division is well represented in the Fourth Qualifying Round with Beckenham Town drawn against Dagenham & Redbridge. Like Sevenoaks Town they have also gone away to a Vanarama South side and won - they beat Dartford 2-1 in the Second Qualifying Round.

Worksop Town have a rich history in the FA Cup having last reached the First Round Proper in the 2000/01 season where they lost at AFC Bournemouth. In 78/79 they also got to the First Round stage losing to Barnsley as well as 61/62 losing to Workington. In the 1955/56 season they got to the Third Round beating Bradford City in the Second Round before losing at Swindon Town. They have got to the First and Second Round on several previous occasions too. 

The Tigers have had a great run to the 4th Qualifying Round this season beating Vanarama North side Brackley Town and Northern Premier League Premier Division Gainsborough Trinty away from home. 

They travel to Southern Premier Central Division side Alvechurch in the Fourth Qualifying Round who are another side with fond memories of the FA Cup. The original club folded in 1993 but were reformed in 1994. All football fans of a certain age will know of their games with Oxford City in the Fourt Qualifying Round in 71/72 season which ended 2-2, 1-1, 1-1, 0-0, 0-0 and eventually in the Fifth Replay 1-0 to Alvechurch. They reached the Third Round proper in 1973/74 beating Exeter City in the First Round before losing 4-2 at Bradford City. 

They are yet to concede a goal in the competition this season!

After relegation from the Southern League Premier Central last season it's been a great FA Cup campaign from The Waders where they travel to Vanarama South side Farnborough on Saturday. The Bedfordshire side got to the First Round Proper in 13/14 losing 4-1 at Stourbridge. 

Former Welwyn GC and Colney heath striker Jon Clements has been in great form of late scoring four of their six goals in the games against Isthmian Premier Division side Billericay Town.
