The teams towards the bottom of The Pitching-In Isthmian Premier Division have now played between eight to ten games. Both Corinthian-Casuals and Bowers & Pitsea have now played ten games with just one victory each.
Ironically for The Casuals that win came against Bowers & Pitsea with a 4-1 victory on the opening day of the season - The Essex side's only three-point haul came in 2-1 home win over fellow struggler's Herne Bay in their third game of the campaign. They have drawn five of their last six league games.
Herne Bay won only their second game of the season this Tuesday beating Lewes 4-1 in front of 352 people at The MBS Stadium.
Brightlingsea Regent have two wins which came in home games against Margate (2-1 on Sat 20th Aug) and Billericay Town (2-0 on Monday 29th Aug).
Wingate and Finchley are without a win so far but they have drawn six and lost only three of their nine games - Potters Bar Town, currently in second place, have lost the same number of games!
Somewhat surprisingly Billericay Town, Lewes and Carshalton Athletic join Herne Bay in hovering just above the drop zone at present.
