EBBSFLEET UNITED have shown no signs of a hangover from their play-off final defeat to Dorking Wanderers last season in the Vanarama South Division - The Kent side have won all seven of their games so far netting a decent 21 goals in the process. 

They are being pushed all the way by HAVANT & WATERLOOVILLE who have only dropped points in an away game against Braintree Town on Saturday 13th August. 

All roads lead to Westleigh Park on Saturday as The Hawks welcome The Fleet for an early season top of the table clash expected to attract a decent crowd of over 1,200 people.

Former Leeds United, Bury, Sheffield United, Oldham Athletic, AFC Wimbledon, Bradford City, Crawley Town, Newport County and Dover Athletic player Dominic Poleon has been in great from for The Fleet netting 7 times so far. The 28-year-old striker/winger was born in East London and joined the club in February - It's the first time he has played at Step Two of the non-league having made a handful of appearances on loan with Dover Athletic at Step One in the 19/20 season. He has 197 football league appearances with 30 goals to his name in his career so far.

Former Weymouth and AFC Bournemouth academy player Jake McCarthy is the top scorer for The Hawks who he has played for since the summer of 2021. He is closely followed by former Oxford United player James Roberts who also joined the club in 2021. Former Enfield Town striker and fan's favourite Mo Faal is on 3 goals. 

They have announced the loan signing of Lithuanian u21 and u19 International Tomas Kalinauskas from Barnsley today. The 22 year old could be involved in the game on Saturday. 

The Kent side last played in non-league's top division in the 2019/20 with Havant being relegated after a one season stay in the 2018/19 season.
