Potters Bar Town are the early leaders of the Pitching-In Isthmian Premier Division with a very impressive record of four wins from five games played. They are followed by 21/22 North Division Champion's Aveley who are just below them on goal difference - the Essex side's goal against column is on nine with six of those conceded in their only defeat which ended 1-6 to Bognor Regis Town. Since that win The Rocks have gone on to lose at home to Potters Bar Town and suffer a big 4-0 defeat at Horsham who are the top scorers in the division on fourteen goals.
Folkestone Invicta and Lewes are two of three teams left without a defeat along with Kingstonian. The K's are the draw specialists with four of their five games ending all square.
MAZZONE LEADING THE SCORING CHARTS SO FAR
Jack Mazzone is proving to be a great signing for Horsham having netted six times already - He signed from Southern League Premier Division South side Metropolitan Police in June where he had spent four seasons.
SMITH JOINS THE URCHINS ON LOAN FROM BROMLEY
One of the signings of the season so far could be David Smith joining AFC Hornchurch on loan from Vanarama National League side Bromley. The centre-forward moved to The Ravens from Folkestone Invicta over the summer - He scored 35 goals in league and cup games for the Kent side last season and scored on his first start for The Urchins in their 2-1 win over Bishop's Stortford on Monday.
Wingate & Finchley are the only team left without a win but on the positive side for the North London club they have drawn three of their five games with the two defeats being narrow 1-2 losses to Folkestone Invicta and Aveley.
