THE COLD END NON-LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEKEND - WEEK TWO

The Cold End's local non-league team of the week has to be BUCKHURST HILL who made their debut in the FA Cup with a home tie against the current Essex Senior League Champion's Walthamstow so it was a Step 5 v Step 4 game with The Stow now promoted to the Southern League Division One (Central).

The Stags, who were playing at Step 6 last season, were good value for their 2-1 victory with Jake Moss and Keaton Moore the scorers on a memorable day at Myrak Park with a crowd of 366 people in attendance. 

Buckhurst Hill travel to Stansted on Friday 19th August in the next round of the competition. The Airportmen also had a great result beating Step 4 Hadley 1-0 in front of 214 people at Hargrave Park on Friday evening.
