MANAGERIAL CHANGES FOR KENT CLUBS

As well as Faversham Town looking for a new boss after James Collin's departure to Bowers & Pitsea there has been changes elsewhere as well.

Jay Saunders has left Margate and moved to Vanarama South side Tonbridge Angels replacing Steve McKimm who had been in charge at The Longmead Stadium since 2014. Saunders had been in charge at Hartsdown Park since February 2019 and had previously been Manager of Maidstone United from 2011 to 2018 where he lead the club from Step Four to Step One of the non-league ladder.

Margate have moved fast to replace Saunders with Andy Drury taking over. The former Stevenage Borough, Luton Town and Crawley Town player moves from Whitstable Town where he was player-manager from March until the end of the season but was unable to stop The Oystermen finishing bottom of the table.

He had also been player assistant-manager for Cray Wanderers from May to December 2021 and also played for Folkestone Invicta last season.

WHITSTABLE TOWN ARE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR NEW BOSS FOR THE 22/23 SEASON
