LEAGUE TABLE COURTESY OF footballwebpages.co.uk

BEDFORD TOWN currently lead the race for the title in the Southern League Division One (Central) just ahead of BERKHAMSTED and AFC DUNSTABLE. The Comrades lost 3-0 at AFC Dunstable on Saturday which was only their second defeat of the season but they can go back top of the league with a win at St Neots Town tonight who are currently in 12th place. It could only be for 24 hours as BEDFORD TOWN travel to AYLESBURY UNITED who are currently in 7th place. Berkhamsted's only other defeat this season came at home to Ware (1-0) on Saturday 6th November.

All of the current top three have won 4, drawn 1 and lost 1 of their last 6 league games. BJ Christie scored for AFC Dunstable in their victory at the weekend and has netted 17 league goals this season so far.

The 3-0 defeat was the first time this season Berkhamsted have conceded more than one goal in a league in 17 games played.

At the bottom of the table WANTAGE TOWN and COLNEY HEATH currently occupy the relegation spots with KEMPSTON TOWN in the play-off/relegation spot.

The Magpies got their second win of the season on Saturday with a 1-0 home win over St Neots Town.
