Hertford Town recorded their fourth league win of the season today with a 2-1 home victory over Aylesbury United. A crowd of 200 people saw Ben Herd's side win a much needed three points with goals coming from Charlie Payne and Brandy Makuendi.
Herd is building a very good squad at 'The Lomo Bar and Grill Stadium' playing some neat and tidy football with some very impressive young players from what I saw in their game against Thame United on Tuesday evening.
Obinna Ogbonna, formerly of Hendon, on the left wing stood out for me especially in the first half. One of the best bits of the game was the Hertford fan who shouted 'HE COULD OF KILLED HIM REF' towards the official after a standard looking foul - Brilliant!
Town's next games come away at Didcot Town next weekend, Biggleswade FC at home on Saturday 18th December and then the big East Hertfordshire derby away at Ware on Bank Holiday Monday 27th December.
