Stotfold have made a perfect start to the 21/22 season in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division winning all eight of their games played with an impressive total of four goals scored per game opposed to just two goals conceded in games against Letchworth GC Eagles and Wellingborough Whitworth.

The Eagles and second placed Ampthill Town are the only teams left without a defeat. With a place in the new play-offs on offer for teams who finish in 2nd to 5th place it's looking to be a very exciting season in the division.

Tomorrow night's local derby game between Stotfold and Langford should be a very good game - The visitors making the three and half mile journey from Forde Park are in good form having won three and drawn one of their last four league games scoring twelve goals and letting in just three. I think the crowd at The JSJ Stadium could top over 200 for this one.
