GRENFELL ATHLETIC LAUNCH NEW KIT

Grenfell Athletic Football Club were formed in 2017 by members of the local community around Grenfell Tower in Kensington after the terrible fire which saw 72 people die and a huge number of people affected in many ways.

The club has since helped a huge amount of  people both on and off the pitch and have even toured Italy to play matches.

Athletic joined the Middlesex County Sunday League for the 17/18 season finishing mid-table in Division Three in their first season. They then won Division Three and the Division Three Cup in 18/19. In the last two seasons which have been curtailed due to the pandemic there were playing in Division One.

Profits from the sale of any of the Grenfell Athletic products on kitlocker.com (link below) goes into funding the development of the football club which has become a source of hope, solidarity helping with the mental and physical health of the Grenfell community. They are clearly more than just a football club!

The club are planning on introducing women's and youth teams with ambitions to climb the football pyramid and eventually have a stadium to call their own which will be of massive benefit to the area.

"When you buy this shirt, you are doing more than buy a shirt, you are helping lift up a community."

The new home shirt is made with sustainable materials. With silicone/satin crests, heat applied for minimal irritation and maximum quality. The badge and green heart are water-based ink prints, meaning they’re very durable and withstand countless washes without degrading.
