E to H - NEWS FROM THE ISTHMIAN PREMIER

EAST THURROCK UNITED
Centre-Forward Danilo Orsi-Dadomo played a handful of games for The Rocks in 2018 and went on to play for Hungerford Town, Hampton & Richmond Borough and a stand out season with Maidenhead United in non-league's top division last season which saw many football league sides send scouts to watch him. He has signed for League Two Harrogate Town.

Paul Martin's side open their pre-season campaign on Saturday 17th July with a home game against Southend United. There have been no announcements regarding players retained or signed as yet.

FOLKESTONE INVICTA

Invicta have played two pre-season games so far. They won 4-2 against Ramsgate with Scott Heard, Ian Draycott, Alfie Paxman and David Smith on the score-sheet. Welling United, who featured a number of trialists, were beaten 3-1 with Smith, Paxman and Draycott scoring goals.

Striker Ade Yusuff has re-joined the club. He was with Invicta between 2017 to 2019 going on to play for Dulwich Hamlet, Tonbridge Angels, Cray Valley PM, Dover Athletic and Braintree Town. The signature of Yusuff is a huge one for Invicta boss Neil Cugley - I predict he will be among the division's top scorers come the business end of the season.

He has also made two other signings in defender/midfielder Ryan Johnson and  Kieron McCann. Johnson has played for Maidstone United, East Grinstead Town and Ramsgate in the past. Midfielder McCann returns to the club he joined from Sevenoaks Town in 2017 - He left for Cray Valley PM last summer.

Cugley has been in charge for over 20 seasons and is currently the longest serving manager in the top seven tiers of English football.

HARINGEY BOROUGH
Tom Loizou's side have already played a few pre-season games. They have lost at home to Romford 1-2 and on Tuesday evening they won 4-1 against a Royston Town team who missing a few first team players due to a precautionary covid isolation.
