#BRINGSOUTHALLHOME - WITHOUT A STADIUM SINCE 1992

Southall Football Club are celebrating their 150th anniversary this season having been formed back in 1871. The club are currently ground-sharing with Ashford Town and have been without a ground to call their own since 1992 when they lost their much loved Western Road home. Since then they have played at Burnham and Hanwell Town but they do have plans to return to Southall which has a diverse population of around 70,000 people many of whom can trace their family roots back to South Asia.

The club currently play in the Combined Counties Premier Division having transferred from the Spartan South Midlands League Division One in 2018 which they finished top in.

Since moving leagues they have finished 4th in 18/19 along with 5th placed finished in both the abandoned/curtailed seasons.

Southall have a rich history reaching the Third Round of the FA Cup in 35/36 as well as the First Round on five other occasions. They were runner's up in the FA Amateur Cup in 1925 along with reaching the semi-finals in 1927 and 1953. The club famously reached the Final of the FA Vase under the management of Gordon Bartlett where Les Ferdinand first made his name in the game.

You can help bring Southall FC home by clicking on their website at southallfc.com and leaving your name and email address along with a message of support. The new stadium is planned to be not just a football stadium by a multi-use central hub for the local community to use.

The Town would greatly benefit both on and off the pitch if Southall could build a stadium to call their own. If just 20% of the 70,000 people signed over the next week they'd have 14,000 people in support of a new home.

SOUTHALL TAKE ON BIGGLESWADE FC IN THE SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE IN 2017

Southall started their pre-season build up on Saturday with a 7-1 victory over London Samurai Warriors who have been promoted from the Middlesex County League to the Combined Counties Division One for the 2021/22 season.

With a new stadium to call home it may well help them discover the next Les Ferdinand?
