DENILSON CARVALHO JOINS DARTFORD FC

DENILSON CARVALHO IN ACTION FOR TOWER HAMLET AT ENFIELD BOROUGH

Dartford who are currently top of the Vanarama South division have signed Denilson Carvalho from Southern Counties East League side Tower Hamlets earlier this week. He came on as an 89th minute substitute to make his debut for The Darts in their 3-0 win over Billericay Town on Tuesday evening. He played in the academy ranks at Arsenal and Watford along with a spell at Huddersfield Town up until the summer of 2020.

In total he scored seven goals in twelve games for Tower Hamlets who are struggling at the bottom of the SCEFL Premier Division.

"QUALITY TOUCH AND SKILL"

I saw him play earlier in the season for Tower Hamlets in their FA Vase tie at Enfield Borough. At the time I wrote "the attacking midfielder has a quality touch and skill when he gets the ball at his feet. He played in between the front line and midfield - He reminded me very much of former Dulwich Hamlet player Erhan Oztumer in the position he plays and the fact he is only small in stature but is clearly as class player. He will no doubt play at a higher level sooner rather than later."

It's great to see a young player moving up the pyramid - I'm sure Dartford fans will be seeing (albeit via streaming and highlights frustratingly) he's a very exciting player over the next few weeks!
