CLASSIC FOOTBALL PROGAMMES - CORINTHIAN CASUALS v ENFIELD - 1972

On Tuesday 25th April 1972 just a few days after The E's lost to Hendon in the FA Amateur Cup final they made the trip to Sandy Lane where Corinthian Casuals were playing at the time for an Isthmian League game.

The programme priced at 3p and saw Corinthian Casuals going into the game bottom of the table but on the back of a 3-2 win against Bishops Stortford which their then manager the great Ted Hardy had congratulated the club for.

The E's had former Casual Sid Hill in their line up and were managed by Howard Moxon at the time - they won the game 0-3 thanks to two goals for Adams and an own goal.

Enfield finished second in the table to Wycombe Wanderers who were title winners.
