Boreham Wood, Barnet and Yeovil Town all took part in the end of season play-offs in the Vanarama National League last season after the table was decided on a points per game basis.

Fast forward a few months and after roughly 20% of the 2020/21 season all three are in the bottom six of the table - There is, of course, many games to play but The Glovers who were in the Championship in 2013/14 alongside Leicester City are in danger of relegation to level six of the English game whilst The Foxes have been crowned Premier League winners and are currently on fourth place this season!

So what's gone wrong for some clubs at the wrong end of the Vanarama National League at the moment. "Reduced budget, mass exodus, play off manager left, cheap appointment, cheap recruitment, crap results" was what Barnet podcast @beespod told me on social media!

Here we look at squads in the Yeovil Town v Barnet play-off quarter final game played in July to see where the players are now

YEOVIL TOWN
Stuart Nelson - Now with League Two side Crawley Town
Remeao Hutton - Was on loan from Birmingham City. Currently on loan to League Two side Stevenage.
Myles Hippolyte - Now with League Two side Scunthorpe United.
Marc Richards - Now with Southern Premier Central side St Ives Town.
Brandon Cooper - Was on loan from Swansea City now back with the Swans.

Albi Skendi, Matt Worthington, Rhys Murphy, Charlie Lee, Carl Dickinson, Lee Collins, Luke Wilkinson, Myles Hippolyte, Courtney Duffus, Jimmy Smith, Chris Dagnall, Craig Alcock  and Adam Smith are all still with The Glovers.

BARNET
Ricardo Santos - Now with League Two side Bolton Wanderers.
David Tutonda - Now with League One side Bristol Rovers.
Elliot Johnson - Now with Dagenham and Redbridge.
Charlee Adams - Now with Dagenham and Redbridge.
Paul McCallum - Now with Dagenham and Redbridge.
Alfie Pavey - Now with Dartford.
Ronnie Edwards - Now with Peterborough United.
Rihards Matrevics - Now with St Albans City.

Scott Loach, Harry Taylor,  James Dunne, Mauro Vilhete, Josh Walker, Ephron Mason-Clark, Medy Elito, Alexander McBurnie and Antonis Vasiliou are all still with the club.

What will be a worry to Barnet fans is the 24 goals they have conceded so far in just 10 games played - In 35 regular season games in 2019/20 they let in 42 goals. That's an increase from 1.2 goals conceded per game to 2.4 this season!
