What a day it was for Step Five side Sheppey United who welcomed National League South side Welling United in the Emirates FA Cup yesterday. Sheppey won 2-0 thanks to goals from Jahmal Howlett-Mundle and Danny Divine in front of a sold out 300 crowd on the Island - I'm sure you could of tripled figure and more if it weren't for the current restrictions.
Another SCEFL Premier Division in Chatham Town recorded a very impressive 0-3 victory at Isthmian League Premier Division side Folkestone Invicta. Dan Bradshaw scored twice to send his team through to the third qualifying round.
Bedfont Sports, of the Isthmian South Central, recorded a brilliant 2-0 win over Premier Division Carshalton Athletic with Shamal Edwards getting both of their goals. With The Robins making a good start to their Premier Division season and Sports losing both of their league games this result wasn't expected at all.
Another Premier Division side in Cheshunt were beaten by North Division Cambridge City at Theobalds Lane. In front of a good 352 crowd it was City who recorded a 1-2 victory.
Barking of the Isthmian North beat Kings Langley of the Southern Premier Central division. After a 2-2 draw at Mayesbrook Park - Barking were 2-0 up with 10 minutes to go but Kings Langley brought it back thanks to two goals from Brad Watkins - the home side went through on penalty kicks 3-2.
