JERSEY BULLS GO WITH BACK-2-BACK FIXTURES

Combined Counties League Division One side Jersey Bulls are unlikely to play home games at their Springfield stadium until 2021 due to the current travel restrictions.

The Island's government are currently advising all people to self-isolate upon their arrival until they are tested and receive a negative result - This will be become law once a guarantee of a 12 hour turnaround for tests can be assured. So for visiting teams it will be mean staying on Jersey for one or two nights which is not feasible for part-time teams.

To ease fixture congestion the Bulls have arranged back-to-back games on the main-land with 'home' games at Ascot United - they have three games scheduled in less than 48 hours from Friday 23rd October.

They play Southern Combination Division One side Billinghurst in their debut FA Vase this weekend.

The Bulls have won all four of the league games so far this season. In total since joining the English pyramid at the start of 2019/20 they have now played 35 games and won them all! They could be considered as one of the most unluckiest teams in the United Kingdom as they had already been crowned Division One champions before covid-19 put a halt to football below step three last season.
