RELEGATED/RELEGATION PLAY OFF
It was a unusual set of results in the Belarusian Premier League as non of the top three won their games. Neman Grodno and Shakhtyor Soligorsk both lost games losing ground on BATE Borisov who drew 2-2 with Isloch who moved down from fourt to fifth after Torpedo Belaz Zhodino won
Gorodeya's 0-1 victory at Neman was thanks to a Lazar Sajcic's 89th minute winner which was a fantastic looping shot from just outside of the box. The Village team's win helps them out at the bottom of the table.
Shakhtyor's defeat at home to Dynamo Minsk was their third in their last five games.
Slutsk's 2-1 victory (along with Grordeyas) over FC Minsk thanks to a 90th minute penalty also heaps pressure on Belshina Bobruisk in the bottom two - their game was called off as many of their squad have tested positive for Covid-19.
Smolevichy look doomed at the bottom of the table with a possible points total of 26 and Slutsk and Gorodeya on 24 points already. Defeat on Friday at Gorodeya will confirm their relegation to the First League for the 2021 season.
The Brest derby was played out in front of 2,452 people - Rukh were 1-2 up at half-time but eventually lost 5-2 to the 2019 league champions. For those not in the know Rukh were formed in 2016 as an Amateur team and were Dynamo's 'farm team' up until 2019 when Rukh moved up to the First League.
Their are still close ties between the two sides as Abdoulaye Diallo and Pavel Sedko have all moved from Rukh to Dynamo this season and Rukh's starting XI having five former Dyanmo players.
