We now know the teams who will compete in the 2020 Buildbase FA Vase final as it will be an all Northern League affair as Consett AFC take on Hebburn Town.
The league's dominance of the competition continues as since 2009 it's been won by Whitley Bay (x3), Dunston UTS, Spennymoor Town, North Shields, Morpeth Town and South Shields as well as Stockton Town, West Auckland Town (x2) being runner's up.
Non-League final's day will now take place on Sunday 27th September with Concord Rangers (more on them soon!) taking on the winners of the Notts County v Harrogate Town game to be played next midweek. It's not been officially announced how many fans will be allowed into Wembley but it's expected to be one of the test events to get fans back to football.
Hebburn Town's best performance in the FA Vase prior to the 2019/20 season was reaching the Fifth Round in 18/19 where they were knocked out by West Auckland Town.
Consett AFC reached the same stage in 07/08 losing an unforgettable game 4-5 against Merstham.
