Enfield Town have announced that forthcoming home friendly matches against Chesham United (was to be played Tuesday 8th September) and Welling United (Saturday 12th September) have been postponed following one of its players having been tested positive for Covid-19.
The club has taken this decision in line with its comprehensive risk assessments and with advice from the NHS and Public Health England.
With midweek games in the Northern League and Midland Football League also called off it's a timely reminder that Covid-19 has not gone away and we all need to be careful and follow the advice given.
