THE COLD END FLASHBACK - THE 2010 MIDDLESEX FA CHARITY CUP FINAL

THE 2010 MIDDLESEX FA CHARITY CUP FINAL
NORTH GREENFORD UNITED 1 ENFIELD TOWN 0

Despite having much of the possession and chances at The Beveree, Enfield Town couldn't find their way past an inspired Gary Jallow in the North Greenford United goal in the 101st Middlesex Senior Charity Cup Final in 2010.

Steve Ringrose's side carried out a smash and grab raid in their 1-0 win to lift the trophy, their goal came in one of their very few attacks in the second half and their only memorable attempt on target.

Enfield Town had numerous chances and even a goal disallowed in the second half. The referee blew up for a foul he saw before the ball dropped into the net from a Rudi Hall header.

The final action of the game was North Greenford frantically clearing the ball off the line and then literally seconds after celebrating when the referee blew up for full time. It was a case of "just one of those nights" for Enfield Town where the game could of been played until midnight and they still wouldn't of hit the net as the luck seemed to be on United's side but then again the saying goes you make your own luck and they certainly did that with their defending and work rate.
