NATIONAL LEAGUE PLAY-OFF ROUND UP

Here are the results from the weekend's National League eliminator/play-off games. In the the National league Boreham Wood and Barnet move forward. 

Barnet won 0-2 at Yeovil Town with their goals coming from former Dulwich Hamlet player Paul McCallum (he is currently on loan from Solihull Moors) and Mauro Vilhete. The Bees play away at Notts County in the semi-final next weekend - If Darren Currie's side win they will play at Wembley for the first time since the 1972 FA Trophy Final. 

Boreham Wood were 2-1 winners versus FC Halifax Town and go on to play at Harrogate Town in the other semi-final.  Halifax were 0-1 up at half time via a goal from former Dover Athletic and Bromley player Tobi Sho-Silva. 

Goals from Kane Smith and Matt Rhead won the game for the home side. Rhead is most well known for his time with Lincoln City whom he left in 2019 for a short spell with Billericay Town.

NOTTS COUNTY (3rd/63) v BARNET (7th/54) - 2.30pm 
HARROGATE TOWN (2nd/66) v BOREHAM WOOD (5th/60) - 5pm  

In the North Division it was Altrincham, who was last in non-league's top division in 2016, who move one step closer with a 3-2 win versus Chester. Gateshead won on penalty kicks at Brackley Town after a 1-1 draw. 

NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH PLAY-OFF SEMI FINALS 
YORK CITY (2nd/66) v ALTRINCHAM (5th/57) -3pm 
BOSTON UNITED (3rd/58) v GATESHEAD (7th/52) - 5.30pm 

In the South Division it was luck with the away sides as Dorking Wanderers won 1-2 at Bath City and Dartford won well 0-3 at Slough Town. Charlie Sheringham was the hero for The Darts with two goals in their victory. 

The two semi-final games in the North Division could be the last to be played at two historic stadiums. York City are due to move from Bootham Crescent (played at since 1932) and Boston United from York Street (used by United since 1933). It's just a shame with the current conditions that no fans can be present at the games.
