JOE CROFT THE NEW MAN IN CHARGE OF LONDON TIGERS

Spartan South Midlands League Division One side London Tigers have announced that former Welwyn Garden City goalkeeper Joe Croft will be their new manager for the 2020/21 season.

The Tigers were relegated from the Premier Division in 2019 and former Barnet, Kidderminster Harriers, Maidenhead United and Stevenage Borough player Dwane Lee had taken over only to be replaced by the duo of Jorge Gallardo and Cris Goncalves after only a few games played.

Croft lead Welwyn Garden City under 25s to promotion in his first season in managmentand then The Citizen's reserve side to promotion in his second season. He has been with Cockfosters Reserves for the last two seasons where they reached the final of the Middlesex FA Premier Cup losing to Harefield United.

The Tigers were fifteenth of nineteen teams in Division One in March when football was put on hold. They had won seven of their twenty-nine games played.

I have always liked The Tigers since first watching them play as 'Kingsbury London Tigers' in 2009 and fondly remember their 'Real North London Derby' battles with Kentish Town.

TheColdEnd wishes Joe the very best of luck in his new job and hopes London Tigers can do well in the 2020/21 season whenever that maybe.
