The game of the week one came as 2019 Champion's KI host runner's up B36. Sebastian Pingel came off the bench for B36 to score an all important goal in the 81st minute before Meinhard Olsen scored a second on 90 minutes to pick up the all important win. Danish born Pingel signed for B36 from HB over the pre-season.
IF only managed one win in their twenty-seven league games played last season but started off their 2020 campaign well with a 1-2 with at Skala. Both of their goals were scored by Serbian forward Uros Stojanov who was making his debut for the club having signed from Thail League 2 club MOF Customs United where he scored 22 goals in 49 games in the 18/19 season.
Former Hamilton Academical defender Delphin Tshiembe made his debut for HB in their win over EB/Streymur with Adrian Justinussen getting the winner on 26 minutes. Arni Olsen was sent off in the 90th minute for EB/Streymur which was the only red card issued over the five games played.
