STUART MARSHALL THE NEW BOSS OF CATHOLIC UNITED

Essex Olympian Premier Division side Catholic United have announced the appointment of Stuart Marshall as their new first team manager.

Club Chairman, James Paviour confirmed "We are delighted to appoint Stuart, we feel his is just the right person to build on the success the club has experienced over the last few years. Stuarts experience, knowledge and passion is exactly what we need and we are all very excited to see what this season brings. Welcome to Stuart, we are delighted to have you on board".

Marshall joins the club after Dan Trenkel relinquished the caretaker management role in mid-February following their home defeat to Buckhurst Hill.

He brings a wealth of experience to the club as he has managed Thurrock youth and reserve teams as well as Southend Manor in the Essex Senior Leauge. He was in charge of Manor when they knocked out Braintree Town in the Essex Senior Cup in 2017. He was also been boss of Waltham Abbey Reserves as well as recently scouting for Isthmian Premier Division club Hornchurch.

Marshall stated "I have been lucky enough to be involved with some very good managers in my time in football. I’ve learnt a lot from these and the big one, regardless of level, is always be professional, give 100% and have the desire to be successful and win. I am buzzing to get started and can't wait for the new season to begin"
