ROMFORD FC UPDATE & THE RACE TO AVOID THE DROP FROM THE BETVICTOR NORTH DIVISIO

After the initial flurry of signings and departures from Romford following the change of ownership in November it now seems as if things have settled down somewhat with just Toby Ajala, Carlos Djala-So and Scott Doe joining since the game at Soham Town Rangers on Saturday 22nd February. Despite four wins in a row, including a real stand out result of beating league leader's and title favourite's Maldon and Tiptree United away, Glenn Tamplin's Romford still find themselves bottom of the table but they are in a much better position than they were just two points below Basildon United and three behind Felixstowe and Walton whom they have four games in hand over.

Their next two games look tough - they are at 'home' against Tilbury (2nd) on Wednesday evening and then Heybridge Swifts (3rd) on Saturday

Brentwood Town's ground is still shut (where Romford were ground sharing) so the games will be played at Aveley against Tilbury and Witham Town against Heybridge Swifts.
