A really topsy turvy season for The Blues who started the season under the player-management of former Premier League player Jamie Cureton and owner Steve Smith. Cureton took sole charge in October but left the club in February joining title challenger's Hornchurch as a player with Smith returning to the dug-out. Smith has previous managerial experience having been in charge of both Chelmsford City and Heybridge Swifts.
Since the change in management Stortford have a record of five defeats in a row against Worthing, Hornchurch, Haringey Borough and Enfield Town at home along with an away defeat to Leatherhead. Johnville Renne who departed the club in October for spells with Hayes & Yeading and Wingate & Finchley (5 appearances in January) has returned along with a number of other signings including youngster Brendon Shabani on loan from League Two side Leyton Orient and Chris Gregan on loan from Chelmsford City. A comparison of starting line-ups from the first and last games played shows seven players remaining indicating there was stability within the squad.
Ryan Charles (formerly of Ipswich Town, Needham Market and Canvey Island) is no longer with the club. He is now with Maldon & Tiptree in the Betvictor North division.
Ben Worman was on loan from League Two side Cambridge United but joined Vanarama South side Chelmsford City in November. He made six apperances for The Blues this season.
Luke Callander only played three times for The Blues being sent off in the 0-5 defeat at Enfield Town. He is on the coaching staff at the club.
Ben Sampayo has recently made nine appearances for Heybridge Swifts in the North division.

Just five players remain in the line ups (including subs) for The Ambers first and last games played in the season - only two in the starting XI.
Joe Russell's last game for the club was in October.
Fabion Simms played four games at the start of the season and then played against London Colney in the Herts Senior Cup recently.
Dave Kendall left the club in September and now plays in the South-Central division for Ware.
Jordan Wescott left the club in October to join North division Romford where he made just one appearance against Coggeshall Town in November.
Jason Hallett only played only three games at the start of the season and is now a regular with Canvey Island in the North Divison .
Brian Moses was also a player who only played a handful of games for the club. He is currently on the books of North division Tilbury. He has made 30 appearances for the club.
Sammy Collins last game came in November.
Tom Hitchcock left in September and now plays for Bedford Town in the Betvictor Southern Central division.
Joe Re is still with the club having played games up until the beginning of March.
Former AFC Wimbledon player Olutoyosi Olusanya played 9 times for the club with his last appearance being against Bishops Stortford at the beginning of December.
Ky Marsh-Brown was an unused substitute in the opening game of the season and was not used in any other games after this season. He joined Vanarama South side Dartford.
Of the players who have joined - Goalkeeper Preston Edwards has recently moved on loan from Dulwich Hamlet in the Vanarama South Division. Edwards is very popular character amongst all non-league fans and has played for Ebbsfleet United and Grays Athletic previously.
Tanasheh Abrahams joined from Wingate and Finchley in December after making 22 appearances for The Blue in the early part of the season.
Amadou Kassarate is a well travelled player having come through the academy ranks of Tottenham Hotspur - He has also played in Scotland for Dumbarton, Kirkintilloch Rob Roy and Stanraer along with a spell in Greece playing for Thesprotos. He has represented Senegal at under 20 level and this is his second spell at Theobalds Lane.
Central Defender Sean Cronin started the season with Wingate and Finchley where he was club legend - He made six appearances for The Blues prior to his move to Theobalds Lane.
Zack Newton has been with Welling United previously and moved to Cheshunt from Premier Division rival's Horsham in November.
Taylor Miles in on loan from Vanarama South side St Albans City and counts Braintree Town, Concord Rangers, Lincoln City, Boston United and Hemel Hempstead Town among his former clubs.
Striker Ryan Moss started the season with Harrow Borough in the Betvictor Southern League Premier Division South - He has played for a large number of clubs including Dulwich Hamlet, Kingstonian and Margate.
Jamie Reynolds played for Billericay Town in the first part of the season before joining Cheshunt. He came through the academy system at Tottenham Hotspur - He left the North London side in the summer of 2019.
