At the end of the season the bottom two clubs in the division will be relegated to step four with the third bottom club in danger of going down to as another two third bottom clubs across the four step three divisions will also be demoted with the lowest two's points per game total being the benchmark.

Corinthian Casuals position has a better look to after their recent wins over Cheshunt and Leatherhead - they only narrowly lost 1-0 at title challenger's Horsham in their last game. They also have games in hand over their relegation rivals.

Wingate and Finchley are bottom of the table and without a league victory in eleven league games with just three draws picked up in those games. They really need to pick up points sooner rather than later!

Merstham have the worst goal difference in the league and have lost their last four league games by a combined score of goals for 3 and goals against 16.  They need to stop letting in goals if they are going to pull away from trouble.

At the top of the divison there is now a four point gap between third placed Horsham and fourth placed Carshalton Athletic although The Robins do have a game in hand.

Fifth placed Hornchurch can now concentrate on their league fixtures having been knocked out of the FA Trophy on Saturday and have games in hand over the top four so they look best placed to make a challenge. They have added to their fire-power with the signing of Adam Cunnington who has been released after his short spell with North Division Romford. He started the season in the Vanarama South Division with Dartford and was with Hemel Hempstead Town before joining The Boro. He was a regular scorer for Billericay Town from 2017 to the summer of 2019.

It's no surprise to read that table topper's Worthing are the form side over the last ten games played. They have won 8 and drawn 2 games - their last league defeat came 16 games ago when East Thurrock United picked up a 2-3 on the South-Coast.

TOP GOALSCORERS
Joe Taylor (Cray Wanderers) - 21
Muhammadu Faal (Enfield Town) - 17 (Now with Bolton Wanderers)
Chris Dickson (Hornchurch)- 16
Dan Smith (Bognor Regis Town) - 16
Josh Hutchinson (Potters Bar Town) - 15

Cray Wanderer's striker Joe Taylor leads the way in the race for the golden boot who is closely followed by Muhammadu Faal who made his debut for football league side Bolton Wanderers on Saturday coming off the bench in their game at Rochdale and was also a very late substitute in their game at Lincoln City tonight.

He is followed by Chris Dickson and Dan Smith on 16 goals each. Bognor's Smith, 20, who joined from League One side Portsmouth in the summer is another Isthmian League player attracting interest from higher up the football pyramid with a number of eye catching displays for The Rocks.

All the games tonight have been called off due to the horrible weather but there is a game scheduled tomorrow when Hornhcurch travel to Cray Wanderers which is a very important one in the race for the play-offs and title.
