WHEN WILL FIRE UNITED GET THEIR NEXT LEAGUE WIN?

When Fire United welcome Wivenhoe Town to The Terrance McMillan Stadium on Saturday it'll be 309 days (and 21 league games) since their last victory in the Thurlow Nunn First Division South which ironically came against The Dragons. 

It'll be a much changed Wivenhoe side who visit East London as back in February they were on a losing run of 14 games - with the loss making it 15 and then another defeat at Coggeshall Town making it 16 defeats in road. The 0-0 draw with Bunham Ramblers ended the run and was new manager Gary Monti's first game in charge after he moved from Tiptree Jobserve who had done well in the Essex Senior League Reserve Division.

FIRE UNITED IN FA VASE ACTION AT ERITH & BELVEDERE EARLIER IN THE SEASON

Under the new management of Monti they are now they are in 5th place in the division with 9 wins, 1 draw and 7 defeats in their 17 games played. 

Fire United do have one victory to their name since in the London Senior Trophy when they played Sporting Hackney of the Middlesex County League Premier Division and drew 1-1 but won the game on penalty kicks 3-1.

The Samba Boys last league game ended in a 9-0 defeat to Coggeshall United for whom Hussainou Jaffa scored four goals and Khristopher Oti went one better and netted five times.
