Colney Heath are currently in top spot of the SSMFL Premier Division and with game(s) in hand over their title rivals they are considered favourites for the title but will be taking it one game at a time with their next scheduled game on Saturday at home to local rival's London Colney who are currently second from bottom in the table with just thee wins in their nineteen games played. Colney Heath then go to Harpenden Town in the New Year which is a really exciting game in prospect.  

Tring Athletic's recent defeat to Leighton Town (the in-form team in the division), Harpenden Town and Baldock Town have put a slight dent in the title credentials but they are the best placed team to challenge Colney Heath with just a point separating the two teams. 

Leighton Town with five wins and one draw in their last six games are, as stated, the form side of the division - they are closely followed by Edgware Town who have five wins and one defeat in their last six. Edgware's performances have improved reamarkably - they let in 38 goals in their first 14 games (equating to 2.71 goals per games) which has improved to 6 in their last 6 (1 goal per game). 

Leighton Town have also shown an amazing up-turn in form with just 10 points from their first 11 games (0.91 per game) and now 16 from their last 6 which equates to 2.67 PPG.
