THURLOW NUNN FIRST DIVISION SOUTH - THE RACE FOR THE TITLE

THURLOW NUNN FIRST DIVISION SOUTH
CURRENT TABLE - TOP FIVE ONLY
POSITION  TEAM  GD PTS FORM
1.   LOPES TAVARES  12  +19 31  WWLDWW
2.   LITTLE OAKLEY   16  +25  30  WLWWDW

5.   HOLLAND   15  +0  34  WWLLWD

Lopes Tavares are leading the way in the Thurlow Nunn First Division South with a one point lead over second placed Little Oakley but also four games in hand. The Terrance McMillan Stadium based side have only let in four goals in their twelve games played which is easily the best defensive record in the division followed by Frenford (currently 8th) on 13 goals let in in 11 games and White Ensign (13th) on 14 goals let in in 10 games.

Little Oakley have an excellent home record of 7 wins and 2 draws in 9 games but their away form reads 4 defeats, 1 draw and only 2 wins in 7 games played - They will need to start winning on their travels should they want to push for the title.

Frenford are the form side of the division having won their last five league games in a row.

Lopes Tavares face a home East London derby game (weather permitting) against Hackney Wick tomorrow evening before an all important away game at third placed Halstead Town on Saturday.
