The Road To Wembley continues this weekend with the Buildbase FA Vase Second Qualifying Round taking place. There are two interesting local games tonight as Spartan South Midlands League Division One side New Salamis entertain Towers Hamlets of the Essex Senior League at Donkey Lane and Broadfields United of the SSMFL Premier welcome Hanworth Villa of the Combined Counties Premier Division.
New Salamis have made a good start to life at Step Six of the non-league ladder winning five of their eight games played so far. Tower Hamlets form has been somewhat up and down with a great 1-2 win at Takeley in the Gordon Brastead Memorial Trophy and a 2-1 league vicory against Enfield FC coupled with a 1-5 home defeat against Redbridge. They lost 2-1 at Cockfosters in their last game.
Could there be a shock on the cards at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium tonight?
