The battle to beat the drop in the SSMFL Premier Division looks like it is going to go down to the wire with Stotfold picking up a very useful 3-0 win against London Colney yesterday, London Tigers lost 2-1 at Baldock Town and Cockfosters drew 1-1 at Colney Heath in what looks like it was an eventful game with five red cards in total - three for the home team and two for the visitors.
There are some tough games coming up with London Tigers hosting title challenger's Biggleswade FC on Tuesday and Cockfosters hosting Tring Athletic next Saturday - To have a chance to stay up I think 'Fosters will need to win both of their remaining games - their game at London Tigers on the final day of the season could be winner takes all? Stotfold have two very tough games left against Biggleswade FC and Hadley.
