SATURDAY FIXTURES
Baldock Town v Tring Athletic
Biggleswade FC v Leverstock Green
Biggleswade United v Wembley
Oxhey Jets v Hadley

There is another weekend of big fixtures in the race for the SSMFL Premier Division title - Table topper's Tring Athletic travel to Baldock Town who are the form side in the division losing just one game in their last fifteen games which came last weekend at Harpenden Town when they were narrowly defeated 2-1. They got some revenge in midweek winning 4-0 to the same opponent on Wednesday evening. Athletic have an excellent away record winning eleven, drawing one and losing just one game in thirteen played.

Hadley go to Oxhey Jets who are unbeaten in six games which they have won three and drawn three. Hadley are in excellent form themselves and are unbeaten in nine league games winning seven and drawing two scoring 19 times and letting in just 3 goals.

Biggleswade FC have drawn their last two games after their FA Vase exit at Canterbury City - They drew with Leverstock Green on Tuesday 26th February. With their games in hand many fans think they are title favourites but with Hadley and Tring Athletic still to visit Langford Road all is still to play for in my opinion.

Biggleswade United, in fourth place, still have a chance of the title but will need to win most of their remaining games and hope the teams above them trip up a number of times.

With just five points separating the current top four it's looking like an exciting time coming up over the new few months in the race for the title.
