LOTS OF MIDWEEK BOSTIK LEAGUE GAMES SCHEDULED

Premier Division

Title challenger's Haringey Borough were in action last night as a good crowd of 341 at Coles Park saw them beat Brightlingsea Regent 2-1 thanks to Ricky Sappleton's late winner. The victory puts them level on points with Dorking Wanderers at the top of the table who are top on goal difference. They travel to Margate this evening who are without a league win in nine games. Their last victory came against Potters Bar Town back on Saturday 1st December. It's no surprise to see the bookmakers making Wanderers, who beat Folkestone Invicta 6-0 on Saturday, evens favourites to win the game with Margate rated at 11/5.

There is a massive game in the fight to avoid relegation tonight as Harlow Town (19th) travel to Burgess Hill Town (20th).

Bishop's Stortford v Enfield Town
Burgess Hill Town v Harlow Town
Folkestone Invicta v Corinthian-Casuals
Margate v Dorking Wanderers

Wednesday 6th February
Kingstonian v Potters Bar Town

North Division

Romford, who are bottom of the table, continued their struggles last night when they went down 2-0 at title chasing Aveley. The victory puts Aveley level on points at the top of the table with Bowers & Pitsea who are top on goal difference. After winning four of their opening seven league games The Boro have now only one victory in seventeen league games.

Bowers and Pitsea's game agianst Grays Athletic should attract a decent crowd to The Len Salmon Stadium tonight. The visitors are mid-table and are without a win in five games with the hosts and table topper's winning five of their last six games.

Tuesday 5th February

Bowers & Pitsea v Grays Athletic
Bury Town v Witham Town

South Central Division

There are some fantastic games scheduled for tonight with the landlord's Cheshunt FC taking on their tenant's FC Romania along with the East Herts Derby between Hertford Town and Ware taking place at Hertingfordbury Park. This had added spice to it as Ware are managed by former Hertford boss Paul Halsey and more local interest as Hertford Town parted company with their boss Gavin Kelsey on Sunday who has been replaced with former Welwyn Garden City manager Adam Fisher. It's been a busy few days as there has been lots of player movement in and out of the club - it's likely to be starting XI with a few debut's being made tonight.

Hayes and Yeading's 8-1 win against Hertford Town on Saturday underlined their title credentials - they are currently top of the table with a nice twelve point gap between them and currently second placed Marlow.

They have scored an astonishing 95 goals in just 23 league games! If they carry on at this rate they are likely to score over 150 goals in their 38 league games which I'm sure will be some sort of Isthmian League record.

Tuesday 5th February
Ashford Town v Molesey
Bedfont Sports v Tooting & Mitcham United
Chalfont St Peter v Westfield
Cheshunt v FC Romania
Chipstead v South Park
Egham Town v Bracknell Town
Hanwell Town v Waltham Abbey
Hertford Town v Ware
Northwood v Hayes & Yeading United
Uxbridge v Marlow

South-East Division

Cray Wanderers look on target for a return to Step three as they are currently thirteen points clear at the top of the table with only one defeat in their 23 league games played. They travel to fifth paced Whyteleafe tonight who have lost three and won three of their last six games.

Whitstable Town have the worst form in the last ten games with just one victory recorded although that would of been well received by their fans as it came against local rival's Ramsgate on Boxing Day. They are currently in fifteenth place and travel to mid-table Sevenoaks Town tonight.

The local derby between Herne Bay (17th) and Ramsgate (9th) should be a well attended game tonight.

Tuesday 5th February Faversham Town v Hythe Town

Herne Bay v Ramsgate
Horsham v Hastings United
Sevenoaks Town v Whitstable Town
Sittingbourne v Ashford United
