Stansted, unbeaten in ten league games, currently top the Essex Senior League table closely followed by local rival's Takeley who have one game in hand over The Airportmen and Hillbridge Sports who have two games in hand. 

Saffron Walden Town and Walthamstow could also be involved if the top three lose a few and they get a winning run going. 

The scheduled game on Wednesday evening between Walthamstow and Hullbridge Sports looks a really important match for both sides - a draw would be no good for either. Then on Saturday Walthamstow host Stansted and Hullbridge host Saffron Walden Town so it's an important week coming up.
