Bushey Sports Club currently lead the way in the Hertfordshire Senior County League Premier Division - they lost their opening game of the season to fellow title challenger's New Salamis and followed this with a draw against Weston but since have won an incredible ten games in a row where they have scored 52 goals and let in just 7. Dusty Miller is currently boss and was first manager of the club when it was known as 'Met Police Bushey' in 1992.
Their squad this season has a number of names local non-league fans will recognise in Adam Wallace (Enfield Town and Edgware Town), Craig McKay (Enfield Town, Cockfosters and Edgware Town), Adem Ali (Edgware Town and Cockfosters and last season Park View FC), Billal Butt (Edgware Town and Cockfosters), Vince Rispoli (Cockfosters and last season with AFC Southgate) and Excellence Muhemba who has made number of appearances for Harrow Borough's first team and u23s team this season.
They are closely followed by New Salamis who are just two points behind them and Letchworth Garden City Eagles who are perhaps best placed three points below top position with two games in hand.
The Eagles have a very good record of the nine wins and one draw from their ten league games played so far. They have lost to Essex Olympian League side Bishops Stortford Swifts in the Hertfordshire Senior Centenary Trophy and Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division Tring Athletic in the Hertfordshire FA Charity Shield.
At the bottom of the division Sun Sports have lost all twelve of their league and cup games played so they will be looking at getting some points on the board over the next few months.
In the league scoring charts it's Billal Butt who lads the way with a seriously impressive record of 19 goals in just 8 games played - He is followed by Richard Georgiou of New Salamis who has 17 goals in 12 games and Scott Piggott who has netted 14 times in 8 games. Butt scored a double hat-trick in their recent 11-0 demolition of Evergreen.
