Enfield Town recorded a very important and impressive victory at Tonbridge Angels yesterday evening when goals from Taofiq Olomowewe and Ryan Blackman secured a 1-2 win for Andy Leese's side at the table toppers.
Dorking Wanderers (drew 0-0 at Burgess Hill Town) and Lewes (0-1 winners in a local derby at Whitehawk) were the other sides in the current top six in action yesterday.
Worthing, currently sitting just outside the play-off zone, are arguably the best placed team on a points per game basis - If they win their two games in hand they would go one point ahead of Tonbridge Angels and top the table.
There no league fixtures this weekend with all the teams starting on the road to Wembley in the FA Trophy.
Enfield Town's next league game comes on Saturday 3rd November when they entertain FA Cup hero's Haringey Borough in a local derby game with Tonbridge Angels travelling to Whitehawk and Dorking Wanderers entertaining Corinthian Casuals who after a shaky start have won four of their last six league games and are one of the form sides in the division of which Dorking are the top winning fourteen out of the last eighteen points on offer to them.
