THE SAMBA BOYS OF FIRE UNITED CFC MOVE UP TO STEP SIX

Fire United Christian Football Club moved up to the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Senior League First Division South over the summer. They had been playing in the Middlesex County League Division One (Central & East) so effectively have moved up from step eight to step six on the non-league ladder. The club was formed by proud Brazilian Gustavo Ferreira (who is still the chairman and manager) in 2012 and played for five seasons in the Middlesex County League - the club can count Brazilian, Portuguese, British, Italian and Spanish players to have represented them since. The club work with social and charity projects in  Brazil, Kenya, an orphanage in India and also in the UK.

So far for The Samba Boys they have had the following results in 2018/19 and as you can see they are without a win so far. They have there first home game on Saturday when Brightlingsea Regent Reserves visit so if you're in East London why not pay them a visit.

The club, who currently play at The Terrance McMillan Stadium in Plaistow are on the look out for sponsors to help them so if you are a business why not contact them to see if you can assist?
