LEYTON ATHLETIC - A NEW NAME FOR THE ESSEX SENIOR LEAGUE

Wadham Lodge finished nineteenth of twenty-one teams in the Essex Senior League last season which had confirmed their relegation to the new Eastern Senior First Division South (Step 6) division. However, the news this week is that they have been reprieved from the drop and will compete in a twenty team Essex Senior League for the 2018/19 campaign. 

The club have also changed names and will be known as LEYTON ATHLETIC from now which means the Wadham Lodge derby which last year was Waltham Forest v Wadham Lodge will now be Walthamstow v Leyton Athletic.
