Hertford Town have announced their pre-season game schedule with a game against a side form League Two side Stevenage FC on Saturday 21st July standing out. It's a very long time since the two clubs shared the same Isthmian League Division Two (North) division in 1990/91!
They host Bowers and Pitsea on Tuesday 31st July who they were in the same Bostik North Division last season but now having been moved to the new Bostik South/Central Division can welcome the Essex side to Hertingfordbury Park for a warm-up game.
They also play local rival's Welwyn Garden City who now, following their promotion, play at the same Step 4 of the football pyramid. However, The Citizens have been placed in the Evo-Stik Southern League East Division for the 2018/19 campaign.
