Match played on Monday 18th December 2017

Matt Hanning's Enfield side were missing five players  through suspension in this Essex Senior League game against West Essex who came into the match on the back of a good 2-5 win at Burnham Ramblers in their last outing. It was a really cold evening in Harlow with the temperature dropping to below freezing during the game with a thin layer of frost forming on the 3G surface in the second half.

Tom Woodbridge scored two goals in the first half with his first coming after a good period of possession from West Essex and the second coming after the home side had given away the ball in between the penalty area and the halfway line. He could of had a hat-trick in the first 45 minutes as he put the ball in the back of the net only for it to be ruled out for offside.

In the second half he had another chance with a close range header which was superbly saved by Enfield's young goal-keeper Michael Corderoy. He impressed throughout the game making a number of good stops.

Tom Woodbridge can rightly take the man of the match award but I would give mention to West Essex's attacking midfielder Fatos Zeqiri who has a great touch and close control - He is number 17 in the video highlights. He has played for Brentwood Town, Waltham Abbey and Wembley previously.
