AFC SOUTHGATE PREPARING FOR THEIR FIRST SEASON IN SENIOR FOOTBALL

AFC Southgate who have been very successful in local youth football will play their first season with an Adult team in the Spartan South Midlands League Division Two for the 2017/18 campaign. The team will ground share with Hadley's Brickfield Lane and will be managed by ex Kentish Town boss Rak Hudson who formed the club back in 2011.

He has signed up a number of impressive players for the season with Vince Rispoli, Andre Grant, Kesi Dryden, Adem Ali, Lee Scott,  Mariusz Serwin, Chris Phillips, Ossie Barkat and Steven Eyango Bwanga joining.

Many of the players played under Hudson for Kentish Town - One of whom is Kesi Dryden who captained KTFC. He is more well known as a member of the dance group Rudimental.

They start their season with a trip to Totternhoe on Saturday 5th August and Unite MK on Saturday 12th August before four home games against Amersham Town (Wednesday 16th), Old Bradwell United (Saturday 19th), MK Gallacticos (Saturday 26th) and Park View on Bank Holiday Monday 28th August.

  1. Thanks for this. I must be honest. I had never heard of them until yesterday when I saw them playing against Barnet FC Academy. They seemed to equip themselves well in their 2-0 victory. They won't be hanging around for long at Step 7
