18-1!!!! CHARLTON ATHLETIC CONVINCING WINNERS AT HARLOW TOWN

Charlton Athletic Women travelled to Harlow Town Ladies this afternoon for a pre-season friendly. Charlton are set to play in the FA Women's Premier League Southern Division (Step 3 of the women's football system in England) with Harlow Town winning the Essex County Women's League Premier Division last season (Step 7) last season moving them up to Step 6 and the Eastern Region Women's Football League Division One (South).

As the score suggests it was pretty much one way traffic with the away side dominating playing some really impressive entertaining football and having much of the possession throughout the match.

It was 0-5 at half time with the biggest cheer from the decent crowd that attended reserved for Harlow Town's solitary goal in the second half - Unfortunately Charlton ran in another thirteen goals during those 45 minutes with Kit Graham netting an incredible eight times!

Charlton Athletic Women start their league campaign at home to Lewes on Sunday 20th August - they play their home games at Bayliss Avenue in Thamesmead.

Harlow's next pre-season friendly is next Sunday when they visit Cambridge City Ladies.

Good Luck to both teams for the forthcoming season.
