Its going to be an exciting week ahead in the race for the title and play-offs in the Ryman Premier Division. The title race is now officially down to a two horse race between Bognor Regis Town and Havant & Waterlooville with a massive potentially title deciding game at West Leigh Park on Bank Holiday Monday.
One of the two title contenders will then take one of the four play-off places available with then eight teams fighting for the three remaining spots - of those eight I'd say Billericay Town and Harlow Town have an outside chance but should The Hawks get a win at Bognor Regis Town on Saturday (I'm sure fans of Havant and Waterlooville will be happy with that!) the importance of their game with Enfield Town on Monday will be cranked up more than a notch or two.
Dulwich Hamlet enhanced their play-off chances last night with a good 1-4 win at Merstham whilst the point picked up by Leiston in their 2-2 home draw against fifteenth placed Harrow Borough maybe either an important two points dropped or one point gained for the Suffolk side come the end of the season proper?
Both Needham Market and Tonbridge Angels who have been in the top five for most of the season will need to improve their form in their remaining three games - The Marketmen haven't won in their last six games and The Angels have only one win in their last eight which came against relegation threatened Hendon.

In the fight to avoid relegation Grays Athletic have unfortunately been confirmed as one of the four teams - With just seven points separating Canvey Island in seventeenth place and AFC Sudbury in twenty-third (its only nine up to fourteenth placed Merstham who are still not mathematically safe!) it looks as though it could go down to a nail-biting final day of the season.
Looking at the weekend fixtures the is only one fixture with nothing riding on the result when Staines Town (12th) visit Lowestoft Town (11th).

One thing that can be confirmed is that Brightlingsea Regent will be joining the Premier Division for the 2017/18 campaign having been crowned Champions of Division One (North). Regent's North Road home is only a short distance from the sea-front in the Essex Town so it's another good trip for teams in the division next season.
In Division One (South) Tooting and Mitcham United are top but are still not confirmed as Champions - A slip up at Ramsgate or at home to Carshalton Athletic could see a title decider versus second placed Dorking Wanderers on the final day of the season - Dorking would need to keep winning - they host Hythe Town on Saturday before a trip to Guernsey on Bank Holiday Monday.
In the Vanarama South Division anything but a win for Bishops Stortford (at home versus Gosport Borough) and for Margate (away at Weston-Super-Mare) tomorrow will confirm their relegation to Step Three. If they drop down both will more than probably re-join the Isthmian Premier Division - Margate went up in 2015 with Stortford last playing in the division in 2003/04.
